Isn’t it beautiful ?
This is the only known photograph of the Kildwick School WW1 memorial, showing the names of former pupils of the school who died in the Great War. The memorial is lost and, despite extensive searching by members of the “Farnhill WW1 Volunteers Project” and the current staff of the school, is unlikely to be found.
An article on this memorial and updates to the biographies of the volunteers who are named on it, will be published during the next few months.
