Main Street, High Farnhill
Looking down Main Street.
Bicycles were a regular means of transport in the early years of the 20th century – there were no cars in the village until the 1920s.
The building on the left in the distance is 42 Main Street, the home of Pollard family at the time of the 1901 census. The brothers Frank, Harry, James and John Pollard would all volunteer to serve in WW1.
