Where was the Farnhill Wood cafe and cyclist's Rest Stop ?
From the angle these photographs were taken, and looking at the way the ground seems to rise up behind the building, we're pretty confident that this is the main Skipton-Keighley road rather than Bradley Lane.
It has been suggested that this could be "Winifred's Cafe", the building that later became Craven Forge and is now a much redeveloped private house. The problem with this is that the 1911 census says that the Farnhill Wood Cafe is in Farnhill, but Craven Forge was over the parish boundary - in Bradley.
Can you shed any light on this mystery ?
